<idPurp>Historical GPM Precipitation over Mecca (2015 - 2100)
</idPurp>
<idAbs>

This point layer represents historical observed precipitation over Mecca for 2000–2025. The input data were derived from the GPM IMERG Final precipitation product, clipped to the study area, temporally averaged, and converted from gridded precipitation values to point features. The h_mean attribute represents the historical mean precipitation at each grid location. This layer provides the observational precipitation baseline used to compare with future climate projections and to evaluate spatial patterns of rainfall availability, surface wetting, and hydro-ecological controls on dune stability.

</idAbs>
