This raster layer shows projected mean 10-m wind speed over Mecca for 2015-2100 under the SSP2-4.5 emissions pathway. The input data were derived from the NEX-GDDP-CMIP6 multi-model ensemble and bias-corrected against ERA5 wind data to improve consistency with historical wind conditions. The corrected future wind-speed data were clipped to the study area and temporally averaged at each grid cell to produce the long-term future mean wind-speed surface. This layer supports assessment of future aeolian forcing, potential dune migration pressure, and increased sand encroachment risk.<\/SPAN><\/P> <\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
