<idPurp>This dataset classifies exposure conditions for foundation concrete and steel reinforcement across eight key regions in Mecca Province, including Jeddah, Rabigh, Bahra, Al Lith, and Al Qunfudha. Evaluation parameters include water-soluble sulfates (SO4), chloride concentrations (Cl-), and pH levels.</idPurp>
<idAbs>

The data consist of 40 soil samples, provided by SGS. This data is intended for preliminary geotechnical screening. Site-specific borehole investigations are required for final structural design. Classification follows ACI 318-19 for sulfates and BS 8500 for chlorides. SO4 evaluated per ACI 318-19 (Classes S0-S3). Chloride risk is defined as >500 ppm. Acid attack threshold set at pH < 5.5.

The measured data were georeferenced to the borehole locations and categorized into risk zones based on sulfate and chloride concentrations.

Projection: UTM 37N.

</idAbs>
