Abstract: Bouguer Gravity Anomaly map of Egypt

Purpose:

Georeferenced mosaic of the Egypt Atlas for ground water 1:500,000: Bouguer gravity anomaly maps. The geomagnetic declination to epoch 1985 by the Helwan Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics, Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Helwan, Egypt. Topography based on the Working Sheet series 1:250,000, TFH Berlin 1981-1984. Compiled from Gravity surveys, mapped by the Geophysical Department of the General Petroleum Co., Cairo. Bouguer anomalies calculated against the international gravity fourmula 1967, and referred to the national gravity reference net, 1977. Density (g cm-3) for Bouguer correction is 2.3.
