description:

This point layer represents projected future precipitation conditions over Mecca for 2015–2100 under the SSP2-4.5 emissions pathway. The input data were derived from a NEX-GDDP-CMIP6 multi-model ensemble and adjusted using GPM IMERG Final precipitation as the observational reference through Quantile Delta Mapping bias correction. The gridded future precipitation values were clipped to the study area and converted to point features, where the fut_mean attribute represents the long-term projected mean precipitation at each grid location. This layer supports web mapping, pop-up visualization, and spatial comparison of future precipitation patterns related to soil wetting, hydrologic recharge potential, and dune stabilization processes.
