<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This raster layer shows projected mean 10-m wind speed over Mecca for 2015-2100 under the SSP2-4.5 emissions pathway. The input data were derived from the NEX-GDDP-CMIP6 multi-model ensemble and bias-corrected against ERA5 wind data to improve consistency with historical wind conditions. The corrected future wind-speed data were clipped to the study area and temporally averaged at each grid cell to produce the long-term future mean wind-speed surface. This layer supports assessment of future aeolian forcing, potential dune migration pressure, and increased sand encroachment risk.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
