Abstract: The objective of the work is to construct a fully automated Continuous Ground Motion Monitoring Service that covers the entire country of Qatar and use the service for identification of natural and anthropogenic factors controlling the ground deformation in Qatar. Mapping the land deformation over Qatar in high resolution and continuous monitoring of its temporal behavior over time can assist in infrastructure risk assessment and implementation of
appropriate preventative and remedial processes in a timely fashion. It could serve as an early warning system that alerts authorities to potential geohazards and anthropogenic effects, if left unattended, could lead to losses in life and properties.
